In the following pages, I will introduce some tricks and techniques to aid in the production of scientific material using this well-known document package system for the \TeX typesetting program. Let it be an article in a scientific journal, a presentation in a conference, or a set of notes for one of your courses, \LaTeX is your best bet to produce beautiful and professional looking documents.

I have included already some trickery in other pages, where I exploit the strength of several packages as tikz (a language for producing vector graphics from a geometric/algebraic description), skak (for typesetting chess diagrams), listings (to insert programming code), graphicx (to manage external pictures) and many others.
